The problem is even more annoying when xvidtune is used to adjust the screen size and centering parameters on a monitor which isn't auto-adjust and the modeline is ignored at subsequent bootups. Per the last comment posted 2008/04/03 for this bug: "Based on the date this bug was created, it appears to have been reported against rawhide during the development of a Fedora release that is no longer maintained.
