in that case install compiz-gnome only ... see compiz fusion for more details
I was unable to find any up-to-date information on the Fedora Project Wiki, perhaps I am not looking in the right spot. However, before installing the KDE-compiz package, it was still using compiz in KDE, it was just using Emerald as the theme selector instead of the theme I selected in KDE. So I don't think uninstalling KDE-Compiz would help.
