My small FC8 box (with no gui) that presently is not doing much (ftp server and ntp client&server) was working well. However, on a routine check, I found that while it succeeded in pinging its router, it could not pink the WAN. I did: /etc/init.d/network restart which solved the problem (at least for now). Any suggestions on what to look for? Thanks, Mike.
