its probably BIOS assisted RAID, aka fakeRAID ... Fedora doesnt support it.


  I would rather say it is supported:

% dmraid -l | grep nvidia
nvidia  : NVidia RAID (S,0,1,10,5)

 I even remember FC5 or FC6 had dmraid in installer and allowed install
into such fakeraid.

Raymond, I suggest you look into man "dmraid".

Thanks, I'll take a look this afternoon when I'm at the computer again, and I'll let you and everyone else know the results.
