what version of libdhcp (and the others) are you running?  my
up-to-date F8 already shows:

# rpm -q libdhcp4client
libdhcp4client-3.0.6-12.fc8
#

which suggests you have older versions of those other packages, or
something is very weird with your repo configuration.
