/etc/cups/mime.types
/etc/cups/mime.convs

see commented out sections that refer to raw printing (uncomment them),
restart cups.

Not at all new to F8, but if you have a print driver that wants to talk
directly to printer and not use postscript processing, raw is the
methodology (very typical for printing from Windows computers to Linux
shared printers).
