Wild strange problems

I was on F7 and rebooted to see what problems Nvidia would cause. It caused none but after an hour of testing I got the computer to come up. What happened I found with a rescue F8 DVD that my bios switched the hard drives. What was 0 is now 1 and what was 1 is now 0. Why this happened is anyones guess. It had me going for awhile. I may still have a bad BIOS but hope not.
