Tim,

Thanks for your interest in the HOWTO. I am actually subscribed to this
list but don't have the time currently to participate proactively and
provide substantial support on a regular basis; kudos to the regulars
here that do.

Unfortunately due to my lack of avail time, the HOWTO has has not been
updated in approx 18 months and is written for Fedora Core ver 5, not 8.
Most of the concepts are still the same however, its just the exact
system configurations which will be out of date compared to the lastest
packages in this distribution. ATM I don't have time in the foreseeable
future to upgrade the documentation.

I am happy if someone is willing and has the time to look at updating
the document for FC8, as it is a good little resource (interested people
should contact me 'off list'). Please be aware my site is NOT official
FC8 documentation.

If anyone is interested in assisting in the official Fedora Core
documentation project, please subscribe to the fedora-docs-list located
here: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-docs-list You don't
have to be technically minded to assist, there are plenty of formatting
and reviewing opportunities.

Official Fedora documentation is located here:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/

Regards,
Miles Brennan
