importance to the message? Your system did complete shutdown, didn't it? I would be much more concerned that irqbalance failed on startup.
I think it is still always important to investigate why something it is not working as it should and it does not matter if that is causing a problem or not. In my case, luckily, at the moment I do not have other problems with my installation, therefore it was the only issue I could work on.
