Duh? This took about 10 seconds.
Start here. Follow the prompts. Either one goes to the same page.

Yea, it takes about 10 seconds starting from that page, but how
do you know how to find that page starting from java.sun.com?
There are 15,000 potential paths to follow with no roadsigns :-).
For that matter, how do I know I need a jre rather than a jdk
(I've seen both tossed around on web pages about installing
java).
Actually, try *this* page as it is even easier and simpler?

Hi, All: This is another Tom. Not Tom H. I downloaded onto FC6. I
followed instructions that included linking some *plugin*.so file, but
Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.12)
Gecko/20071019 Fedora/1.5.0.12-5.fc6 Firefox/1.5.0.12 doesn't see it.
I'm thinking I have to do something more in Firefox to enable? Maybe?
Any suggestions?
