Fedora Core 6: mplayer a HD-file

Hello All,

I tried to play a HD video file with mplayer. I got the audio but
there was no video - only the blue box. I tried searching over the Net
but I couldn't find the answer...

Can you give me some hints?

I have a P4-3GHz machine with Intel's integrated graphics running
Fedora Core 6, kernel 2.6.22.9-61.fc6.

Here's the output of mplayer:

My current resolution is 1280x720, which is smaller than the video
resolution (1920x1080). Can it be a problem? If yes, why isn't it
getting downscaled to the apropriate size?

Sorry for a silly question and thanks in advance!
