I already tried startkde from my memory, but, it did not work. With a
long scroll of error message. Now I get it from your mail why it did
so. 

Anyway, the 'switchdesktop' thing suggested by Searle will work
prefectly for me. I don't want make KDE my default. Only when I want
it.
