Hi, I'm trying to help a friend who is running FC6 and has mysteriously lost the ability to right click on the background under gnome. The desktop icons have all vanished (although ~/Desktop still contains them). It's not like we are newbies, but so far nothing has worked. We've tried deleting the the .gnome* .gconf* directories, to force recreation but that failed. Also we tried with a brand new user, but the same. Seems like somthing is broken with gnome/metacity under FC6. Any ideas ? Chris
