Figured out what the problem was. The machine names were set to things like 'Customer Service Counter G4' and 'Mike's Burn System'...well, that won't work. Resetting the names to 'customer-service-counter-g4', or essentially removing anything that's not a character or dash made them work properly. Now they're all registering as they should.

By the way, that's in the Sharing panel. Now I have to go walk around the building and fix all the stupid names...
