Huh, worked just fine in FC6. I set my dsl-modem to "pass-through mode" to allow the net to see my machine. Then I set my server static IP address and nameservers IP addresses, plus my DNSdomainname and all was peachy, until NM started appending the domainname to local. A hand edit of /etc/hosts fixed that snafu. Haven't tried it using FC7 though.
