I am trying to setup my CVS server but I am getting authorization problems: 1) cvs login returns: "... Cannot open: /home/cvs/CVSROOT/config" 2) /var/log/secure returns: "... password mismatch for dant: xxMtazAdD97. vs x" I have tried everything possible such as to 777 the entire cvs home directory to no avail. I tried to find out where the encrypted password was stored with no luck. Can anyone point me to a really good CVS install instruction site that works? Thanks!
