Found a link with google where the author suggested that to disable
ipv6 I should only need alias net-pf-10 off in modprobe.conf.

It did not work.

The output of lsmod | grep ipv after a reboot still lists the following:

nf_conntrack_ipv4 15049 3 iptable_nat
nf_conntrack 63049 5
ipt_MASQUERADE,iptable_nat,nf_nat,nf_conntrack_ipv4,xt_state
nfnetlink 9945 3 nf_nat,nf_conntrack_ipv4,nf_conntrack
ipv6 277957 34
