Thanks, Tim and Vivek. Tried the following:

$ pdf2ps myfile.pdf
File size limit exceeded
$ ls -l myfile.pdf
-rw-rw-r-- 1 psmith psmith 91276820 2007-08-24 23:11 myfile.pdf
$
