it would appear that way.  i kept getting lost amidst advice regarding
modprobe and modprobe.conf and blacklisting and NetworkManager, etc.

it won't be permanent at the current location, i'm currently putting
together a new web page for my business and part of the content will
be tutorials along that line, so it will be moved there when the time
comes.

when the new web page is ready, my signature will change to reflect
that.
