Hi Les, Thanks for the clarification, appreciate it. I never looked at the link, but thanks for trying to help. I wasn't actually asking for help with procmail. As I've said previously, I'm kind of good at all this stuff and do it for a living. Sorry for being unclear in earlier mail and prompting your attempt to help. What I was really trying to do was show you the impossibility of what you were suggesting to me, and challenging you to prove otherwise. Oh, well, 'nuff said on all that. Take care, Andy
