No, I understood that you wanted to downgrade, but you were inputting the names into rpm incorrectly. I've never had much luck with downgrading, so I'm not going to give broken advice (there's seems to be enough on the list already at times). I was just hoping to enlighten.The output format from the yum logs are different from the package name that you need to pass to RPM. The version string should be separated from the package name by a dash, and the i386 shouldn't be needed (unless you're running multilib).
