Turion 64 is a 64 bit processor and x86_64 version works great with it.
Also, if the 64 bit version is what I should use, will I have problems with the nvidia driver or the flash plugin?
Don't know about the nvidia driver, but flash works without problems with 64bit Firefox & nspluginwrapper.
