Far as I know, they just got the rights to use the codecs as part of their
settlement with MS when they agreed to drop the 'Lindows' name - as far as I
know, there was no money involved, it was a quid pro quo. But, I think your
need requires more than just codecs -- if you succeed, let us all know


Anyone know if the Fluendo plugins work in the way

Not sure what Linspire/Freespire use to provide support for
closed codecs, and they seem reluctant to say.
