'yum install kernel madwifi' will just do the same as 'yum install kernel' and 'yum install madwifi'. Although I don't use it myself, I think kmod-madwifi is the madwifi kernel, so presumbaly after yum install kmod-madwifi you then reboot and select it in grub.
