The details of my SpeedTouch modem are:

Product Name: ST5x6v6
Serial Number: CP0702DTRSH
Software Release: 6.1.0.5
Software Variant: CN
Boot Loader Version: 1.0.6
Product Code: 3594263A
Board Name: BANT-V

And there is a section there (in the modem configuration interface)
called "Home Network", with the following:
Ethernet Interface Ethernet
    ethport1
(100Mbps)
Notwithstanding, in the modem there is no physical way of connecting
another cable.

Your DSL provider probably offers an option to replace this model with one that has a built-in 4-port switch and perhaps wireless, or you can put any of the inexpensive home wired or wireless NAT routers behind this one. They will take the single IP address currently used for your connection on the provider's side and let you add a number of additional computers on your side with a private network range (typically 192.168.0.0-192.168.0.255). When you access the internet the router will use NAT (network address translation) to make all connections appear to be from your single public address.
