No, ESC doesn't kill "kill." Not on this FC6 box anyway.
Once invoked it has to kill something it seems!

It *does* disappear on my FC6 install.
Sounds like you've got a psychopath killer on your box :)
I use XFCE instead of Gnome or KDE so perhaps that makes a difference?
I've tried numerous times and can't stop kill! It's not something I
often need to do, usually if I invoke kill it's for a particular app.
and I'm desparate to get rid of it.
