Sorry but I have no idea how to put this where it should be. Can you
tell me where in F7 this should be placed? I know little about the
details of yum.

You have to create it as root...
Hi well I did that but my F7 still says "nothing to do" and will not
find vlc like FD6 does. I looked in /etc/yum.repos.d and there are 3
lavina files in FC6.
Something is wrong and should not this be reported as a bug in F7?
