Harsh! Spreading a little enthusiasm never hurt the world.
I'd swear a bunch of the usual contributors are on PMS but it's our
favorite female contributor who is urging restraint and several of the
male contributors who are getting all snippy. Seems like someone
declared "open season with thermal lances, flamethrowers and/or napalm"
on newbies. Given the noise level of some of the off-topic debates that
the same people participate in, it hardly seems fair to be scorching
newbies for a transgression like "enthusiasm."
