Someone has doodle or libextractor working on fedora 6?

Hi all,

I would like to write some script that capture info and metadata from
files.

I read about libextractor and extract, but, after installed with yum, I
obtain nothing from the extract command.

Also doodle, that is based on libextractor, doesn't work.

Someone had doodle working?
