Please clarify it's it's one of the following:
1.) like knoppix, installing to hdd pulls from the cd itself.
2.) it's like "linux ask method", http, specify a mirror, etc
3.) other, both, ...?
More like 1) but the installation does offer you the ability to point to
a third party/custom repository and install packages from it.
