The suggestion, "Probably you selected the wrong device" applies to both of you. Running fdisk on a _partition_ (sdb1, sdc1) is almost always wrong. The partition table is on the _device_ (sdb, sdc), not within a partition. -- Bob Nichols Yes, "NOSPAM" is really part of my email address.
