Same problem with me: booting with the USB image, and using an ftp server (ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/fedora.redhat.com/fedora/linux/releases/7/Fedora/i386/os/Fedora/ [1]) I had similar problems with previous versions but earlier, in the phase of downloading stage 2 image. I'll try with http my machine is an i386 Marco.
