(No UPS here.)  Isolate the problem.  Either the machine shut itself down
or the UPS shut it down, either directly or by command.  If it was the
machine itself or by command there may be an entry in the logs.  Also try
it without the UPS serial/USB connection, and then without the UPS at all.
