Anyone know how to switch from Gnome desktop to KDE in an F7
installation which was clean installed from the DVD? This does look
like a nice version - and install is very quick too.

Run Add/Remove programs and select KDE and unselect GNOME. You can use yum groupinstall/groupremove to do the same in the command line. It should automatically boot into KDE then.

If you wish to leave GNOME installed, then select KDE in the graphical login screen and make it default when prompted. You can use switchdesk kde in the command line. The configuration files are in /etc/sysconfig/desktop.
