Can you boot other DVDs? We once had a DVD writer here that did not
boot from any DVD, no matter the OS to be installed. We then bought a
simple read-only drive which worked.

Andreas.

If you burn your own CD/DVDs you may have better luck using DVD+R
media. Burn at one half the maximum speed of the burner or slower.

If you are experiencing problems with your graphics card use "vga=791"
at the boot prompt.
