Thank you guys - ( lagging behind again ) - as soon as I get some spare time, I will
attempt to install the hard-drives and attempt getting it up running again.
And I got the -hints- as well - and yes, there are several things that I should have done, like checking logs, etc.
But as I said, to have an X-install option - is high on my wish list. Personal opinion ? Perhaps, but based on experience....
Then - I am aware that Fedora may not be the right thing for every one, but at the moment it is the only thing that seems to handle some of my hardware.

Btw. - does anyone know what's up with "Talk" ? It seems broken in FC1,2,5,6 ( not checked the other ) Some security problems, but I guess it should be okay for user to user, on the same platform. In one situation, it did seem like 'a stack' problem. Any other working package around, or program suggestions ? ( message passing on the same server, simple IPC would do )
