I'm looking now, but, can any one tell me how to delete a screen saver? I prefer to leave my setting to random, but I need to get rid of webcollage

Menu - System - Preferences - Screensaver

Remove the checkmark from the entry for webcollage.

Huh?

My screen saver does not have any check marks available to select which screen saver(s) I want activated. I see the list but I only have two check boxes. One for "Activate screen saver when computer is idle" and the other is "Lock screen when screen saver is active." A slider for minutes and three buttons.

I was about to ask the same question as I only want one or two different ones active.

xscreensaver has the capability to select screensavers by checkbox. Gnome-screensaver is scaled down to uselessness. You may want to install xscreensaver and remove gnome-screensaver until the gnome-screensaver becomes more customizable.
