hola,
i'm upgrading from FC 3 to FC 6 on a supermicro, intel-based, server
with SATA disks. When i get to the point where the installation process
should ask me if i want to upgrade i get the disk partitioning screen.
then when i try to partition disks i am told that there are none!
i've tried the upgrade passing the parameters ide-scsi, ide-generic-all
& irqpoll (?) in various combinations, but still nothing.
the disks are visible under FC 3 and in the BIOS . . . any thoughts?
here is my lspci output (network & video have been removed), if anyone
finds that helpful. please let me know if there is any other output
that would be helpful in diagnosing this issue.
