I believe the variables in the /etc/sysconfig/network file can also be
put in the ifcfg-ethx files so you could put different HOSTAMAME
designations in the ifcfg-eth1 and the ifcfg-eth2 files as well as
different ip-numbers there and in the /etc/hosts file.
