FC6 kernel-2.6.20-1.2933.fc6 and logging

Just updated to kernel-2.6.20-1.2933.fc6. I didn't see any logging from the boot in /var/log/messages. Also didn't see any su or interface promiscuous entries in /var/log/secure. Am I doing something wrong, is there a design change, or is there
a bug in this kernel? kernel-2.6.20-1.2925.fc6 appears to log as I expect.

I backed off to kernel-2.6.20-1.2925.fc6. During the boot is see a lot of messages flash across the monitor from udev under this kernel. It says something about attempting to resize something too small. These messages don't appear to be
logged anywhere, so it is a bit difficult to give an exact wording.

I didn't not watch the boot of 2.6.20-1.2925 when I originally installed it, so I don't know whether this was present when that kernel was originally installed, or whether the error is a result of booting 2.6.20-1.2925 after 2.6.20-1.2933 is installed.
