Not sure, but the jump from FC4 to FC6 is pretty large, If you can back up your data, I'd do a clean install. Much faster, less messier and usually worth the effort, unless you have a minimal machine (ex: PIII with 128 megs of memory). I'd then goto FC5 and halt right there.
