FC6: If running "yum update" in FC6, I saw that kernel-2.6.19-2911.6.5.fc6 has been installed, but /boot/grub/menu.lst has not been updated. Some error has been reported:

grubby fatal error: unable to find a suitable template

How to repair this? After editing /boot/grub/menu.lst by hand, I was able to boot the new kernel without problem.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

I found out that /boot/grub/grub.conf and /boot/grub/menu.lst were different.
The correct boot config was in /boot/grub/menu.lst.

After "mv /boot/grub/menu.lst /boot/grub/grub.conf;ln -s /boot/grub/grub.conf /boot/grub/menu.lst"

all trouble disappeared.
