Did I not read someplace that this turned out to be a kernel race bug that
has finally been fixed?
Yup (for the most part, anyway).
But isn't this about the 3rd or 4th time we've heard that? I just have
to wonder what possessed someone to think that berkeleydb was a suitable
format without making a backup copy before every change.
