The site said these are for Linux... is there any reason why these won't
work for FC6?
I'm not at home now but will try it later. Please warn me now if I shouldn't
install it!

i follow this guide to get ati driver acceleration works on my iMac Core Duo 1.83Ghz :

But the desktop effects dos not work.
