What does "uname -v" say?

Newer kernels don't get compiled for SMP and non-SMP procesors. It's one
kernel which detects the procesor(s) and uses the parameters needed.

Looks to be SMP:

[dotancohen@localhost ~]$ uname -v
#1 SMP Wed Jan 10 19:28:18 EST 2007
