I had to deal with this mobo some weeks ago trying to get it running with FC6, and after a very painfull road finnaly I could change it for a intel p965 based mobo. The trouble seems to be the JMicron chipset. This has a SATA RAID option that is not recognized by the linux kernel. Another issue, is that once U get it finnaly running under linux, you don't have SMP working ( with Pentium "D" or Core2 Duo based processors). IIRC, you have to change on the BIOS the ACPI to off and disable the RAID.
