Oh don't be so melodramatic. I have been using firefox (on both
windows and linux) since its pre-alpha days and have only rarely (and
not recently) had any problems with websites not working correctly.
This includes secure banking with numerous banks, media websites,
airline bookings, etc...

I wish that I have had your luck. I've had to do UA spoofing and
switch between Opera/FIrefox/IE in wine. I STILL have to run IE in
wine for a number of Hebrew websites, notably Walla Mail that my wife
uses. She cannot change email address (to many old friends) and Walla
ONLY works in IE. Maybe English language sites are better, but the
Hebrew internet is, as we say in Hebrew, on it's face.

I know that I prefer to have a secure browser (and OS) and work around
the very occasional missing "feature" (more often than not an
advertisement).

Les, can you point us to the bug report you have of course filed
regarding the citicards website problem?

I wrote to citicard just a few hours ago. I've yet to get a reply from
them. I doubt that citicard has a public bugzilla.

OSS goes both ways - don't just complain about the problems without
contributing to fixing them.

I wasn't complaining. I was stating facts. And I've taken steps to
correct the problem- I suggested to Aaron that he write to Fox and
CNN, and I've writtne to them myself.
