I can't find where the FC6 Gnome configuration went awry. It is not launching with dbus. The console gets the messages: Failed to execute dbus-launch to autolaunch D-Bus session libnotify-Message: Unable to get session bus: Failed to execute dbus-launch to autolaunch D-Bus session Error: unable to initialize pynotify Running rpm -qa|grep dbus Gives dbus-1.0.1-2.fc6 dbus-glib-0.70-4 dbus-python-0.70-6 dbus-glib-devel-0.70-4 Tried starting an X session with only an xterm and entering dbus-launch gnome-session Returns command not found Running FC6 with updates current to 1/10.
