Ric Ric, I think the OP is in India, (judging from the way he writes his email -- I could of course be really wrong...) so the postage is going to cost a lot more than what you paid for the motherboard originally. Just my 2 cents, but maybe the OP could consider a network + text install. If he can get hold of another computer, load the RPMS there and install to his PIII PC in text mode, that should do the trick. Then install X and other apps later using yum. This would eliminate the CD, CD-ROM drive and insufficient memory, all at once. Wish I could give more details, but I've never tried it before.
