I know this doesn't help much, but I've always used Emacs as my front end to gdb. I expect that, now that we're well into the 21st century, Eclipse would have a gdb front end or three. This old dinosaur first started using Emacs 20 years ago and sees no need to change his spots. (Oh dear, I'm mixing metaphors again). --wpd
